My real estate career spans over three decades, and began in the Chicagoland area in 1978, where I specialized in the marketing of high-end homes. In 1986, my focus shifted into the Residential Appraisal profession, where I obtained the prestigious SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute, and was soon appointed to Chief Operating Officer for a large  appraisal firm. In 1992, I established M. J. Roney & Associates, founded Safe House Home Inspection Services in 1994, and built these successful businesses from the ground up. In 1998, I conveyed the title of CEO to succeeding management in order to return to real estate sales in Marin County. My management and entrepreneurial experience, extensive knowledge of real estate and the "Marin marketplace", and seasoned negotiation skills have given me an edge as a Realtor, while instilling trust and confidence in the buyers and sellers, with whom I have successfully worked with.
